Manufacture and installation of powder-coated aluminium curtain-walling, windows and doors. All items were powder-coated in RAL 7016 matt. Curtain walling screens were manufactured using SAS SCW series incorporating 75mm thermally broken mullion and transom sections. Doors were manufactured using non-thermally broken commercial sections with pivot hinge mechanism, incorporating concealed overhead closures and rounded anti-finger trap stiles. Ironmongery was either Adams Rite MS 2200 hook-lock and SSS handles or Axim fire exit hardware of external access. All doors provided with low level threshold suitable for wheelchair access. Windows were manufactured using Sapa dual-frame 55mm casement sections. Ironmongery consisted of multi-point locking espags with friction stay hinges. Glazing to the curtain walling, windows and doors consisted of 6.4mm clear softcoat laminated Low E/ Argon filled cavitities/ 4mm clear toughened grey anti-sun. Infill panels were manufactured using aluminium powder-coated insulated sections.
